    I'll dream a little...
    1) 1894-S Barber Dime
    2) 1895 proof Morgan Dollar
    3) 1921 Walking Liberty Half- unc.
    4) 1885 Liberty Nickel- unc.
    5) 1913-S type II Buffalo Nickel very fine or better
*** I'm being realistic and not too greedy. Besides, these are coins I actually need to complete my current collection.

Well, I wouldn't mind a 1964-D peace dollar. But let's face it, I'd really have to watch who I bragged to!

How many of those are there...2 or 3, or 2 or 3 bags...I know they are rare

Well, there were 316,076 1964-D peace dollars produced in 1965 and were supposedly all melted before being released into circulation. Let's face it, though! If you worked at the mint, you'd try to sneak one out if you knew its demise. I suspect this was the case with a few, but who knows. They are unlawful to own, which is why we may never know the truth if there are any survivors or not.

Legislation dating August 3, 1964 authorized the minting of 45,000,000 silver dollars. I couldn't say the reasoning. I don't think there was a shortage, as they never really circulated much anyway.

What was the point of that...And why did they hid them from the public.
And why did some come out...This is all very confusing...I wish I could just have one! lol
Oh, and how much are they worth? 50K, 100K, 1 million...etc?

I believe the legislation was public knowledge, but I doubt few knew or cared. I'm sorry if I was unclear, but I only suspect some escaped the melting pot. As for a value; who knows? Look at the values of a 1933 Saint Gaudens double eagle as an indicator. It could only be sold on the black market, and authenticity would be a major concern. How would one know what a genuine specimine looked like when there are none to compare it to or any TPGs to authenticate it? I don't believe the Smithsonian Institute even has one, but don't quote me on it.

I read that 2 or 3 existed, on some site. Another site, said 2 or 3 bags, but IDK if these are "reliable" sites
I bet there are some out there...Only our dead presidents and legislative leaders would know! lol

I'd like to think there are a few out there. In reality, I know they would be way out of my price range, so I'll stick to my original wants list. That way my main obstical would be my wife, rather than the millions of dollars I'll never have!
