East German 1908J 5 Heller

I have had this coin for awhile and was wondering what a value for this would be? And maybe a grade?

I have seen a few of these on other auction sites and they are going into the $100's, is mine worth anywhere around that?

Based on a quick search at coinarchives.com, I would say your coin could be in the $100-$150 range in XF.

I checked my 2009 Krause and it listed this coin (KM# 11) at $85 for XF.
But for selling I would go with the values shown in coinarchives.com as it is often complained that Krause undervalues rare coins.

East Germany did not appear until after WWII.
In 1908 German Empire

i would not send this coin to a TPG - this is a VF+ and sells for about $25.00 - XF retails for $40.00. price source is the German price sheet
