coinbug.com, bigbcoins.com (borgovan is a good guy to do business with), maybe ebay, but I would stick to slabs if you are buying from ebay.
Rick Snow (a member of CoinTalk) sells Flying Eagle and Indian Head Cents at his web site: Eagle Eye Rare Coins Rick specializes in varieties and high grade coins. He has also written the best reference books there are for FE & IHC varieties.
Actually if you think about it that is probably your best bet. If you buy from ebay or some on line dealer that no one knows, not much you can do if you get burned. If someone that is a member here doesn't make you happy, it is easy to do something about that. You should really think about that. So what or who could you yell at if from ebay? How about a dealer that is on his way to some Island with your money? Of having a great meal at your expense?:eat: See it would pay to do buisness with a CT member.
Hey everyone will hate me for this one... eBay..... I buy all my coins there...Very good.... Also, for graded, david lawrence, heritage, teletrade.
I'm just shopping around for a 1908 in unc or bu. Also a 1885 in vf. I trying to get to a shop that might have them this week, but its about 50 miles from here. If anyone has any send me a pm, I didn't think about asking some of you guys.
I have also been there and spent some. Jack's got nice stuff. You could also try Alaska coin exchange they have a good selection. I just tried thier web site but seems that its not working. Maybe its just down I dunno.
As soon as I get a job I'll think about it. Ask me again In May-June. Actually if one can afford it now is a good time to invest in coins.
Ruben - save a couple of K and get the one for 10k that my local dealer has. I think it looks as nice as this one, but it would also come back in a genuine holder since the color is a little off.
Everthing is easy with money if you have it. Here's the link that wasn't working last night. http://alaskacoinexchange.com/ Its working...
Maybe not and maybe so but I'd bet you paid a lot more than if you dealt with people here or at a coin show.
