A beautiful 1923 PCGS MS-64 Peace Dollar with dark brown toning on the edge.

But you can complete a Peace Dollar set easier. :)

Thank you. This isn't one of them but I only need 2 more Peace Dollars to have the entire set. I have 3 sets in different grades but the set I'm putting together now is all MS-64 or MS-65, PCGS slabbed and graded. Hopefully they haven't toned as I want a bright white set. I can find them but they are in 62 or 63 grades. In a 64 they get tough to find and they are fairly common dates. One day soon as I've been looking for them for 5 years.

To quote the great Cleavon Little in Blazing Saddles, "Excuse me while I whip this out..." (my inexpensive 1923, $46.09 winning bid - seller's pics hopefully it arrives tomorrow) PeaceDollarobv.jpg peacerev.jpg

This one cost me $35.00 with free shipping so no complaints from me. :) The one that set me back was the 1928.

I'm working on 1922 through 25 D and S mints already have regular strikes the 1924 s is going to set me back a little even in ms 61 its around a $150-$200 coin

I'm seriously thinking about a Peace Dollar set now, but I need to finish my medium grade SLQ set first - with the Standing Liberty Quarters a low grade 1921 is easy $200 if you can read the "1", and I was lucky to get a 1923-S VF Details (Cleaned and Corroded) for less than $500, but those and the 1919-D and -S are the only expensive ones in that set - most people don't try for the 1916 or 18-S/17 overdate. What's are the tough ones in the Peace Dollars besides the 24 in top condition? 1928 is probably pricy, right?

The '28 will set you back a few thousand in a high grade. The '21 is less but still up there. They are the 2 highest priced coins in the set.

Thanks but be patient, sooner or later you'll run into a good deal.
