Ok....I’ve looked at Wexler....this seems to match 1993-D 1¢ WDDR-005.

Thoughts?

I do if anyone doesn't mind . It doesn't look like it . Your seeing the sides of the columns ,not doubled .

 

Have you compared the die markers on both sides of your coin?

 

@thomas mozzillo . Question. I feel embarrassed but what are die markers and why are they there ? Is that a good question ?

 

There's no bad questions so yours is good. Die markers are used for authentication purposes. I believe they were more helpful on older coinage when collectors were listing coins by die pairs.

I asked the OP to check them because IMO I don't see the markers in his photos but the pic aren't that good. I also don't think it's WDDR-005

 

Thanks , It seems like you need to have it in hand or really good Pics . It's like IDing a State copper from the 1780's . You have to look at all the small details .
