Some new additions

    Hey everyone, I thought I would share some of my latest numismatic books with you.
    The first one is a 1954 "The STAR RARE COIN ENCYCLOPEDIA"
    By B. MAX MEHL
    This one is the 57th edition and has SVDB's listed at "good" - $1.00, and "new condition only" - $5.00
    The second one is a 1962 second edition "Coin Guide" By J. E. Charlton.
    And this one I do believe has been signed.

    Yes sir... those were definitely the "good old days". I started collecting in 1953... wish I knew then what I know now...

    As I read it, the prices for the "V.B.D." [sic] coins are what the company was willing to buy the coins for. I'm sure they were selling them for much more.
