I'm not te best person to assess anything, but that is also under the section when you click my name. Ruben
Ah yes! Success! It sure is nice to have access to this wealth of information all of you provide. I am deeply grateful and proud to be a apprentice numismatist. Oh, and thanks for the laughs too! :thumb:
Most people have no idea how true that is. Being a person that has worked every Nuclear Reactor in Illinois, everyone would be amazed at how many people are involved with the Engineering, Design, construction of those things. And even then, just where do you aquire fissionable material sufficient enough to create critacle mass? There is one thing I never thought of though working on them. Wonder what a coin would look like dipped in the tank there? Just think, you would never loose such a coin at night.
Not to change the subject of this post BUT: Don't feel bad about that. Your not the only one. I've been here for many years and only recently found out about those PM things. I had one and I think I answered it. Then if you go to that area there is something called friends trying to make friends or something like that. I have no idea of what to do there either, nor how to answer them, how to do anything there. No one sends me any of those PM things anyway so I guess it doesn't matter. Or they try and I've done something to not accept them.
Ruben you may borrow my garage if you like. How much do you think one would sell for on ebay?:hammer:
I think this has been done before on Ebay and we might need a classier website. Isn't there an arms merchant bazaar somewhere on the net?
I'm sure a few, hey congrats on 8000 posts Ruben! Have you even noticed i am on my way as i am one of todays top posters! encil:
I tend to post a lot of small post, so its not much of a feat. 20,000 Doug posts, not that is dedication. But FWIW, I don't think that widget to the right is working. It seems to be counting from yesterday. Ruben
This is great. Thanks for that link. I am forwarding this one to lots of people I used to work with in the Nuclear Industry. They'll all love this one. Thanks again.
The humor has returned. Oh well. I don't suppose I could get someone to clean a wheatie with lighter fluid, (soak..no wiping),blot dry. Then afterwards post what would be your opinion of how the method, with your experienced eyes, present an honest analysis. That would make me happy, then I'd have other experts in addition to my bud to reference. Any takers? (I'm trying to tone it down here..is it showing?) If I could get even one honest assesment of this little experiment, I'd be very grateful. I did it, and it looks good to me, but what results would any of you say?
Wait . . . you come here touting lighter fluid as a cleaner, asserting it's fine, and then you want someone here to try it and tell you the results? Doesn't it make more sense that _you_ try it, and post before and after pix here? Don't you think? I'm sure there'll be no shortage of opinions on the matter!
I have tried it and it looks good to me, but I was hoping for a more "seasoned" eye is all. I just want an honest opinion of what a non-new person thinks. I can accept an honest differing opinion. I would like to know what to look at particularly, or what anyone points to, in particular, as to the ills of it, that I'm not seeing.
