Central States Show

I know that we are just over a month out, but is anyone planning on going to the central states show in Cincinnati the first weekend in May?

I am going with a buddy of mine and we already have our hotel room. We are going up Friday morning and will leave Saturday afternoon. There seems to be a lot of CT members in that region and it would be nice to meet some of you. Is anyone one getting a table there? AJ are you going?

Joe, I will not be there. I am trying my damnest to make the MSNS show. I have a business meeting in MI last week of March ,lol , I am trying to get an extension to make the MSNS weekend a possibility.

 

Me, silverstruck, Phoenix, Noost, Borgovan, and a few others will all be there on Friday...lmk if you can make it

I believe it is the last week in April. The last day of the show is May 2nd. So I would guess that it would be probably April29th-May2nd??? The dates may not be exact, but I do know that I will be taking May 1st off from work to attend the show so I do know that it is that week.

The guy I will be going with is one of the founders of ECI - Encased Collectors International. He is the secretary of the group and runs their website which he set up. They are holding a meeting there on Saturday and wanted me to go so I could take pictures of their meeting. Here is his web site... http://www.encasedcollectorsinternational.org/. They are always trying to get new members and it is free for anyone who wishes to join.

 

Would that be Oded Paz? What a guy, I had dinner with him once in Phoenix. I have him on the good guy list for sure.

 

Cecil Starcher is my buddy's name. I have heard of Oded Paz before. Isn't he a member of WINS?

 

Oded is an executive of some sorts in the hierarchy of the elongated society.....

A fascinating person to shoot the bull with. An Israeli from Tel Avive, he is so full of storys ( fish tales ?) that any time with him will be entertaining and an evening well spent.

We had dinner at a fish house restauraunt in Phoenix last year, I left with a new friend. Thats WINS for you. Cointalk as well. You meet the most fascinating folks here on the boards, it really opens your eyes .

At this time I am not sure of the exact times or dates my wife and I plan to attend this show. Tentatively we are looking to get into Cincinatti late Thursday and leave early Saturday. Msg me, we would like to meet up with anyone interested if we can.

 

I will be at Central States all day Friday and Saturday, and then I am staying over for the Central State Lecture series on Sunday.

I'd like to make the MSNS show but it is the same weekend as EAC, also in Cincinnati. So I'm going to be attending coin shows on two consecutive weekends in the same city. I am going to be very broke by the end of the Central States show because the weekend before those two is the Chicago International Coin Fair!

 

As it gets closer to the time of the show, we will have to make plans to all meet up.

 

I'll definitely be there, hopefully every day of the show. I'm pretty excited

Looks like this area is going to be hit with excessively close dated coin shows. The 34th Annual Chicago International Coin Fair at the Crowne Plaza in Rosemont, Il is from April 23 to April 26th. Preceeded by the Countryside show April 19th and followed by the May 5 show in Lemont Il. coin show.
Odd. No shows on Tuesdays.

 

OK gang! Less than a week away now. I will be heading into town on Friday morning and will stay to the end of the day on Saturday.

So who is going? I know Condor101 said he was going. How about anybody else?

My wife and I plan to attend the Central States Show and will be there from Tuesday till early Saturday. We would like to meet anyone during our time there. We will be leaving today 4-27 around 3 pm .. send me an instant message or get back on the forum so we can hook up if possible.
