The year would have to be 28 or 29, I don't think year 21 exists with that style. It isn't very rare, but in that condition Krause lists it as $5. Coin #6, based on the weight you give, should be a Turkish 20 kurush (AH 1293, year 3). It is 83% silver. I don't know how the dealer determined that it was copper, but it looks silver to me, and the weight agrees. In that condition might be worth about $20. Coin #7, based on the relative size with the above, must be a Turkish 20 para, AH 1223, year 25. It is 12% silver, rest copper presumably. Not rare.
On the top of the arabic words, there's is a "21" there is not any other number than the date :"1223" You can see it in the photo. It's clear that it is 21.The coin is in better condition than it appears in the photo, the date is readable. But in the photo u can't read the date. Could u tell me what are the values for the better grades please? Coin#6 I took the coin to another dealer to test it if it was silver or not. The answer was no. He told me it was Bronze/copper , the weight was 22.5 & he said that there was bronze versions of this coin that he had sold before a lot.I was disappointed, I paid $ 15 for it.I was thinking it was silver :S Is there any copper ottoman coins of this coin?? Coin#7 thanks for the infos. Anything about Coin#5?
Then it is a coin not listed in Krause, or in another reference I use. This design type, by all accounts, was only used starting year 28. I cannot find anything about a copper version of this coin. All designs of this type that I can find were for 5, 10, and 20 kurush and in 83% silver. Coin #5 is meant to be in the style of a gold Austrian 4 ducat, but looks like a cast imitation.
