Do you have an editing program with a "Rotate" function? How about giving us a photo of the entire obverse. Also, can you tell us what you think you see so we don't have to play a guessing game.

looks like the copper was not bonded to the coin well and has bubbles in it

    Linear plating bubbles.. Nothing major.

Ridge ring and die polishing marks= worn die, so die deterioration. Plus plating bubbles under "God" which are not an error. Just trapped gas beneath the plating. Poke with a tooth pick. They may pop.

  8. Like to keep short n sweet , but I only show the portion in question to again Simplify what you're looking at . First pic " looks like " some drips excess die seemingly in formation of the top or bottom of a word .
Second photo has another drip over the Hair , I thought it was DD before I realized there was a die drip mark under letter T in TRUST . If I show a Whole Coin pic I don't know if that would help the quality of the pic . Everyone has their preference on how they want pics posted , Idk . I am just trying to show a Simple Viewpoint of exactly what the question is regarding . Thank You

At the top of Lincoln's head is an IDB-Interior Die Break. The rounded formation shows this also. Those are die chips that you may be referring to as die drips. The die break started with the half moon formation so this is a later stage of the same break with the added chips.

Yep, plating issue on a crappy Zincoln, IMHO.

Unlike some others, I only ask for a full image when I feel that it is warranted. Just trying to keep it clear and simple. Also, rotating the images would help.

Best answer. That's what I'm seeing. It is a fun coin.

Yes, this is a coin that needed a full, in focus, image of the coin. That and properly rotated images sure make it better for me.

There are two different coins posted. I think everyone is still addressing the first one. A good reason not to post multiples which can confuse the answers.
