I just got this note back from PMG on
Tuesday and as I was putting it on eBay
I noticed that the label had an error, it
stated that is was a D- Block when in
fact it was an A- Block, see pics.

This note is a top pop 2/0, but I think
the error in the label helped it along
I was going to send it back for the
correct label, but now I am glad I didn’t
just sold to day for $479, with an
    investment of under $49 including
grading, my kind of numbers :)

Hopefully you advertised it as a label error

I'd like to know the name of the lunatic that bought it. I have some bridges that I want to sell.

I knew nothing about these 'notes.' So i went to take a look-see. I notice that I could not find one other example of a even a grade 68, much less a 68EPQ, like your note. (Well, not your note any longer). Maybe that has something to do with the price the buyer was willing to pay?

i found a couple of A notes for that year (Capt Hook) both 65s, one 65PPQ that sold for $69 in 2020 https://www.kathsdisneydollars.com/store/c108/2013.html and Ampex has a D note for that year grade 66 (Capt Hook) for $139 right now. https://www.apmex.com/product/217520/2013-1-00-disney-villains-heroes-capt-hook-gem-cu-66-epq-pmg

masterswimmer A Caretaker, can't take it with me

I was thinking the same thing. And calling it a 'note' is incredibly far reaching.

There's many average 65EPQ and 66EPQ notes that can be had for a song or
less, but especially in the 68EPQ there's a very low population, so its a simple
    case of supply and demand.

a couple more dollars then the Peter

Its funny how people like to - - - - --- over things they dont understand
this is a perfect case in point.

Just imagine you are the fool buyer that didn't take the time to notice it was not a D-block, and you bought an A block at a D block price.

As a seller I would be happy about the price, but my conscience as a collector would get to me and I would notify the buyer so they aren't burned.

For the uninitiated in Disney dollars, the D block is for Orlando Florida, the A block for Anaheim - the latter is more common.

Even though its an easy fix, just send it back and they will take it and fix
the label, it does make it a little more unique in the fact that they screwed
up something so easy, where's quality control..LOL

But not in 68EPQ, when you have very small populations as you know the price goes
up, lots of people collect these including me, anything Disney is always hot !!

When I was in Orlando ca. 2013 even customer service there had a hard time finding anything to sell to me, the best they could do was some lightly circulated stuff. Not a lot of the notes were actually going to the parks, they were sold in stores etc and collected. I'm glad I started collecting them early on with some of the rare notes and didn't wait to get in a lot later when prices went up.
