I Nallely. Welcome to Coin Talk. Please start a new thread and include a clear photo of what you want us to take a look at. If you go to the thread error coins and click Post new thread in the upper right it will allow you to create your own thread and get answers. Don't forget to attach photos and when you do, make sure they are inserted as full photos and not just attatchments. We can help with that also if you are having issues.

Start your own unique separate thread.. With pictures.

And it sounds like a worn die strike. Nothing major.

Has anyone noticed the d for the 1973 penny. Most are close to the date. Another one is lower, with a light strike. The 1969-d also has the same variations. Could use some info. Thanks

Somebody is trolling this post lol they have to be. I've read the "start your own thread" comment at least 3 times on the 1st page!

In 1973 and 1969 the Mint Marks were hand punched into the Obverse Die at the US Mint. They can be found in different locations under the date. That's normal.

This was done with Mint Marks up until 1989 or 1990.

That's a common newbie mistake. They don't even realize that sometimes they create a post on a thread that could be over a decade old with members that are no longer on CoinTalk.

And when we tell them to start a new thread is because sometimes their coin has something or maybe nothing at all to do with the original coin in question. That is was is considered Hijacking a thread.

Agreed. Before I became a member, I was reading the threads and remarks for about 7 or 8 months. I would imagine most every one else does some thing similar. Some questions seem so rediculous, I wouldn't think the o p would know how to operate a computer. The broken speech, the lack of punctuation, never accepting the obvious, the invisible letters and numbers, the claims of multiple errors on an obviously normal coin, the multiple "new member" with a photo avetar of some one we have already seen on here, the same delivery style, no photo of coin . chim chimaree, these are a few of my favorite things. And here is the thing that seems odd to me. If you look at how many clicks they get on a post, they have thousands of them ! Why are people "following them" ? Why are people answering them ??? You don't have to engage them. They are watching those clicks being tabulated and probably laughing their ---------off. I, myself follow some of them because it is funny to watch them play with their catch. In fairness to Carl 625, my reply is not in reference to his question or directed at him.

Do you got a pitcher of it? We need a pitcher of it. We can't tell you nothing without no pitcher of it.
