My grandma recently gave me some coins that she’d inherited from her father. I have no idea if any of them are worth much of anything, but I would sure like to know if they are!!! Many of them are in very high grades, because they’ve been stored away for at least 30 years. Any advice will be GREATLY appreciated!!! P.S. If anyone would like to see better, more close-up images of any of the coins, please let me know!!!

You have received common date foreign coins... The Canadian coins are silver

EDIT: Never mind... I see a few interesting ones in there

I see some interesting coins there. The Tunisian ones for example. Did you know that one bof your Chinese coins is about 200 years old?

Can you take a closeup of the far left coin in the first pic... Obverse and Reverse... Also the middle eastern type coin in the top right of the third photo? Lastly the one in the far top center of the second photo and the far top right of the same photo... Thank you!

A fun bunch of coins but nothing is worth much of anything. The Canadian and the British 6 pence are silver so they are worth a bit more.

Taking a quick glance at the coins in the pictures, I saw mainly common foreign coins BUT there were some silver coins in there which are more valuable. If you want to identify them or see what metal they are, I would recommend going on Numista. Its honestly the best free online coin identification site.

There are a couple of more interesting coins in there, but apart from the silver, it's all stuff that most dealers would offer you a few bucks for and throw in their bargain bin.

Yeah, I noticed that one too. It would be helpful to see the other side, I wouldn't be surprised if that was from 1800s. Maybe a token of some sort?

It would seem that @furryfrog02 found the answer before I could. Regardless, a token with an R-5 rarity isn't anything to complain about either.

    Fuld rarity scale
    • R-1: Greater than 5,000
    • R-2: Between 2,000 and 5,000
    • R-3: Between 500 and 2,000
    • R-4: Between 200 and 500
    • R-5: Between 76 and 200
    • R-6: Between 21 and 75
    • R-7: Between 11 and 20
    • R-8: Between 5 and 10
    • R-9: Between 2 and 4
    • R-10: Unique (one known example)
