Hello friends... As I am preparing for a whirl wind Business trip, I am finding myself in the Gaithersburgh Maryland area during this Paper Money Show in Baltimore. Just wanted to know if any of you will be attending or Dealing at this show? Perhaps I may see you there...only have a few hours to spend as flights are scheduled in the afternoon. RickieB
I'll be there, most likely on Friday and at opening time (10:00). BTW don't try to go on the 26th since that's dealers-only. Also don't try to go on the 29th since the show only goes through the 28th. Whitman got smart and ended shows on Saturdays rather than Sundays. Too many dealers ducked out on Sundays.
Kanga... Thats when I was planning on going, Friday before my flight! How would I spot you? BTW I was going from memory..(not too good to do) on the show dates. RickieB
Since I don't know what the weather will be like, I can't describe what I'll be wearing. So look for this handsome guy: (Okay, all. Stop the retching ) Also my cell phone number is 301-240-9182. If I don't answer I may still be on the road (I don't use my cell phone when driving.)
ERROR My cell phone number is 301-204-9182. (Hey, I don't call myself anymore since the phone is always busy when I do.)
If I can talk my other half into taking the two hour ride with me, I might be attending. It would be my first coin show. Dave
Hope you can attend. As a first show, you'll be starting off near the top. 500-1000 dealers. VERY impressive.
I will be attending, I fly in the 25th and fly out Saturday afternoon. Look for a guy in a "Lost Dutchman Rare Coins" tee shirt.. that'll be me
Sounds like you're a dealer. Even if you don't have a table I assume you'll attend the "dealer-only" day on the 26th.
Yes, I'm there for the duration...I don't have a table but I will be walking the floor. The public can buy early bird badges and get in on that day as well.... its just expensive, I think $75-$100
Gentle reminder. The show is this coming weekend. CAUTION #1: Thursday the 26th is really dealers only and it'll cost you $100 to get in. CAUTION #2: Sunday the 29th is NOT a show date. Saturday is the last day. I read in Coin World (I think) that the Whitman shows will start including Sunday again starting with their show in June. Don't remember where that show will be.
