This came in the mail yesterday, and should be an interesting GTG:

Gorgeous coin - mirror proof like fields - attractive toning - I say PR67/68CAM.

A real bummer about the terminal toning on the edges.

I would say PR68DCAM. I agree a little on the toning, too bad it wasn't arrested just a little sooner.

I don't. It was a ridiculous guess for a ridiculous GTG. It's very difficult to grade business strike coins from a picture and near impossible to grade proof coins from a picture.

Hairlines are going to be the main factor affecting the grade of proof coins and you need to rotate the coin in the light to see the hairlines.

The best you can do with grading a proof coin from a picture is to eliminate high grades. On this coin the toning is a little thick and there is a spot near Washington's shoulder. Therefore, I can fairly confidently eliminate the PR70 & PR69 grades. Now I can't say whether the coin is PR63 or PR66 or PR68 based on the pic, but I can eliminate some.

I fell that GTG like this will only give people false confidence that they can grade proof coins from an image.

I had figured you were being facetious.
We all understand that here, well in your defence I would say most.
I guessed PF68, because in all reality there was no way to tell the difference between cam and Dcam. I am having a hard time seeing the Dcam with the amount of toning on the coin, unless it toned in the slab.
