New Coin purchase

    I just got this coin and wanted to share with you! What do you think should I have it graded? Seller guarateed it would grade at least MS65. Take a look...















    Is this considered a real "woody":kewl:

    How would someone even go about telling if a wooden/ printed coin is real ?

    Harry was it you that was asking me about coin shops in Maine? If so there are two in portland, One is Maine Rare coins, if I remeber correctly they are going to be at coinfest in connecticut. Haven't checked them out yet as I do most business with one in town and online. The other is the Coin and Stamp shop, small place sells alot of antiques and stuff also. Cant find anything any closer to York....

    Thats a start. Portland isn't that far away. Sometimes an antique shop has a few coins, but they are usually overpriced.

    Yes they are! Mostly cause of the tourists I suspect. There arent to many Coin shops in Maine I think a total of ten that I know of and only two with websites. By the way the two in Portland are easy to get to they are right off rt. 295 and not to far away from each other. Google them for directions but no websites. Hopoe this helps...
