It definitely isn't a proof coin. Regardless, if I had to guess, I’d say that VF-20 would be a fair estimation of its grade.

For some bizarre reason, eBay will not let those Cuban coins be sold on their site. But they'll gladly let all those Chinese fakes be sold.

Yes, that's right but there's ways around it! One of the ways is to list the title as 'South of Florida'. There's also another way I've seen it done but my memory bank seems to be shut down for the night! :D

It is a keeper because; it is silver, a Cuban coin minted in Philadelphia and right now, tough to find because of the embargo with Cuba which is the reason eBay will not allow them to be sold on their site. The coin has seen a bit of environmental damage and wear, IMO and I agree with @Bradley Trotter on a grade of F/VF. The key, palm tree and star on the reverse is worn smooth. Value=$4-5.00 IMO

Nice set. Is the 1915 20 Centavos fine or coarse reeded?
Forget the question as I mow see the coin is 1916.

"Value=$4-$5." let me know where I can buy one for $5. I'm guessing the value on eBay for a Cuban silver 10 centavos in F-VF will be at least $10.

You could always try Florida. When I lived there, I'd often find Cuban coins in abundance in melt pans and bulk bins.

Regardless, the silver coins were exclusively 10 and 20 centavo coins such as the OP's. The larger silver coins always had a decent markup over silver content.

Because of the ban you can't look for Cuban coins, you've got to hunt for them under different other names. I did put together a type set of 1915 Cuban silver coins and I had to look around for them because of that stupid ban.

If you're ever looking for Cuban coins @Robert Ransom, you might want to try looking under terms such as Caribbean Island, Caribe, and Kyoobuh. I once found a Dansco album for Cuban type coins listed under the term "Caribbean Island" for $35.00.
