was thinking of purchasing this flyer, is it struck through or just wear??

    Are you talking about the void in the N on the word CENT? Maybe a die issue but I don't know. Filled die maybe? Anyway the price seems ok

    no, meant un ited states of america , on obverse, it looks to me like struck through grease?? whatchya think??

    i use numismedia, because the prices are lower (better for selling)..they are at 42.00 in f-12

    Yeah, the rim is intact and the rest of the lettering is sharp, I would say struck through something

    i try and snap up what i think are bargains, sometimes not so sure of myself though..like the other day at a coin show, met a dealer (i was set up too) and bought an off metal ms-65 jefferson on penny planchet, he had an unc indian 30% off center...i later called him, now he had 2 diff dates, so made a deal for the both 310.00.. so, when i see a deal, i pull the trigger quick...like i said, though sometimes need some assistance here and there, i am a little rusty...back 40 yrs ago was a full time dealer, just got back into coins selling and buying when the 1st stimulus checks came around..and i personally collect errors...nice to have this forum for help!!

    I enjoy stuff like this. It's possible both coins were struck with the same die.
