I've done said enough you been reading my post the date looks a lot different than the other I don't know how many I got but their is some thing a little different about the date. The 9and 6plus the 2 looks to have a little bit of doubling on it.

I took a liter picture and a dark picture trying to get all the letters and numbers to stand out. I wanted you to see the lines but that is hard to do not and less I tilt the coin.

    I wouldn't have it graded

Just an example of the older penny style is all. To me, the older penny style had a more fuller/bolder font to it than compared to the newer version(s) that followed. The style changed after 1968 or 1969, one of the two.

As you type, if a red line appears beneath any of your words, you can right-click to get the correct spelling.

Do the lines you mention look something like this when you tilt it in the light?

I think he's talking about the wood grain effect

No they don't look like that I've seen them lines before specially in the newer coins 82 and above. No these are the wood type off lines I done some research on them people call theme the Woody lines. I've seen people on eBay try to sell these coins as a error coin. If their on the front and back both their worth a little bit more. I just found a 1981 d with the Woody on both sides it puts a fade like on the coin but if you tilt it you can see it easy it kind of nice coin when their on their I think so pretty neat. But I've got some that you can see with out having to tilt these coins are really dark lines I have a 82 large date like that pretty awesome.

It either is or is not as there's no such thing as "a little bit of doubling."

    Tatter,

Try looking for die crack coins. They are way easier to find, most guys will agree with you when you find one, and a few can get pretty wild.

It's not a US coin, but here's my favorite die crack coin.

And, if anyone asks, tell them what you're looking for.
