I suppose the "dark side" is whatever side you're not on. Since I collect only U.S. coins, I was being a bit insincere, and phrasing my reply to the OP's collecting habits.
Nice start to your US coin collection. Now you're gonna be hooked. Start saving for the Indians you like. Bruce
I'm not sure what I'll buy next. I've found a few recent US coins in my home. So my indian cent is now not the only US coin I have. I have a few Lincoln memorial cents, Roosevelt dimes, Jefferson nickles, Washington quarters, and a nice Kennedy half (1965). I don't think I'm hooked yet but I am finding it very interesting learning about these coins. I think I'd like to get some other cents; perhaps a wheat cent, a steel cent and a large cent. I also like the idea of a Buffalo Nickle.
I think you would enjoy the Buffalo nickels quite a bit, but I think you owe it to yourself to buy just one Morgan dollar. They are very reasonably priced in most grades until you get into the Carson City mintmark.
Go Vince !!!! Get you a Buffalo nickel and add it next to your Indian cent and you will have a small tribe going.....:thumb:
Mercury dimes are kinda cool looking . . . even more so the "walking liberty half", one of my favorite "less than $1" designs
