1981 D Quarter Strike Doubling?

    That's a contact mark, imo.

    Same thing/similar is over the E of Quarter.

    It's not doubling, and the coin is full of hits
    and contact marks.

    You can see that the contact mark starts at the horizontal bar of the L and goes up into the leaves
