You might not even be able to find it on a map, it's that small. Place is called Austin, a huge town, has 7 houses. This is where I'll be - First Fork Lodge
I have not been that far east up there, but my uncle lived in (more appropriately near) Vowinkel (about 5 houses) about 50 miles west of you. You will not be lacking for scenery up there. And, I believe that is real near the only elk heard surviving east of the Mississippi.
It is. That's my sister's and her husband's place. Been there quite a few times for visits and they've been trying to get to move there for years to help out with the place. Finally decided to take them up on their offer. Can spit in a trout stream from the porch
Doug I saw the news on the WINS mails, but my mail is not getting thru due to the mailbox/website change. I'll get with JD and get it fixed. It would be awesome if you could make the coinshow in CT, and even better if I could make the lodge, you know I love fishing
YES! Let me know when you are going to be in town, I'll have to show you the sights! Awesome news Jack, looking forward to buying you a beer or four!
dont worry GD would miss CT more so i am sure he will make his postings through the local fish if need be. i believe he is working on the spitting morse code
I've got it covered Spock!!! I've placed ads in local papers in every county letting everyone know. Gov. Rendell has already concieved the idea of having an official GDJMSP Day for all Pennsylvanians.
Doug, Welcome to the Northeast! It's a schlep, but Central PA is probably a 3-4 hour drive from the NYC area, we do have the monthly Parsippany show which is widely considered to be the best 1 day show in the country, and CoinFest is a wonderful national show and just 20 minutes past the George Washington Bridge
Ah come on....here in KY there is a growing heard of Elk. IIRC they are giving out about 200+ tags a year now for hunts. The first year I think it was 5 tags total. Speedy
First I ever heard of it Spencer. How long have they had them in KY ? I know they sure didn't when I was a kid.
