Here are two of my favorites. I'll have to make a top ten list one day. I'm mostly into ancients, but have been "feeling world coin" lately
Nice Cucumbor, I don't think I've ever seen that bust of Victoria before... what is it exactly? EDIT: Nevermind... I just have to learn to read! lol
I dont these own coins (or the pics) but i cant stop admiring them. These are posted in the jaceravone' album. Hope he doesnt mind me linking them here everytime i look at these, i feel memerized as a deer caught staring at the speeding car' headlights.
My favorite so far One hundred pesos bimetallic (silver 0.925 centre and bronze ring) proof. Commemorative of the 400th anniversary of the writing of El Quijote from Miguel de Cervantes. The reverse motif is an illustration of the famous mexican artist Jose Guadalupe Posada called Calavera Quijotesca.
Hey Scot - just dropped in while at work and saw your wonderful coin. All I can say is WOW! Please tell me more about it.
There are some seriously beautiful coins posted on this thread. I am continually amazed at the quality of coins and tokens CoinTalk members have. Great thread, Snaz. Bravo!!!
