    I doubt that they're actually hand carved since you can order them in bulk. Likely mass produced fakes.

    It's not counterfeit. It is "art".
    It's larger than a nickel and therefore would not fall under the "counterfeit" category IMO. Here is from the same listing:

    Chinese sellers of counterfeit coins burn my tucas to begin with HOWEVER, the date is in the wrong spot so there is not much argument to it be an exact reprodcution. Again, Ill say It burns my tucas because they're using Hobo Nickels for something that obviously wasn't carved from a nickel or even hand carved.

    The coins are junk. A lot of them have lead in the metal and other toxic metals. I carve hobo nickels and a lot of the designs are taken from friends of mine.
