The wife always teases me about me having lots of idle money regarding the Euro coins in my collection and that one day she will spend them all. I always look at her change, especially for 2 EUR commemorative. Today I was also thinking that I have a bunch of current US quarters, literally 100s, which are also legal tender.
We save the 2 Euro coins that come through our shop. The commemoratives I have, and my wife has the others. Currently she has about 850 coins
Sounds like my wife. She lets me do whatever I want with my coins, including buying them. A few she likes but in the end all I really get is I'm never buying you any and when you die I'm spending them all. I know she's kidding but it's still annoying to hear that.
@goossen being in Germany, I would guess that there aren't too many U.S. quarters in circulation, so a thorough search of them would be fun. Any you find that are worth nothing but face value, spend them to increase your collection. Those that have value over face, put them in 2x2s and hang on to them. JMHO
