Picking the communal brain again. Above almost all the lettering in "United States of American" there are clear ridges/lines, they don't appear to me to be deep enough to be machine doubling, what do you all think I'm looking at here?
I have so many more to identify, do you think it would be proper to make new posts for all of them or just to centralize them?
I would take the time to research the sites you have been offered, then post a thread of a coin you have questions about.
Oh trust I am, I'm checking all the resources I have gained here before I post it, but reading about it doesn't always answer all my questions, so I bring them here!
Full sized photos front and back (obverse and reverse) are nèeded to properly evaluate the coin from pictures, please. Crop out unnecessary background. Good luck and happy hunting. Like this 1982 small date copper plated zinc cent with plating blisters.
I don't see what you see lol but that's why I'm here! Got to learn right? I will try to get better pictures, its tough with this phone camera
I think I see what you are asking about now. On the reverse on the top of STATES, right? I think that may be a plating issue. Will wait for others to chime in though. Getting better on the pictures for sure. Try rotating them 90 degrees. Make it as easy as possible for folks to help you. What photo editor app are you using?
That a all you need really, crop and rotate and add arrows. Post full sized. Happy New Year if you are on the east coast!
If I had a camera capable of macro shots I would, everything is taken on my phone camera, which unfortunately only has a 4x zoom and it dislikes close ups.
