This contest will be to see who can determine which coins achieved the coveted star designation by NGC. I will post 8 NGC graded Jefferson Nickels. Two of the eight have the star designation. The first person to correctly identify the star coins will be the contest winner. Don't worry, it doesn't end there. I will also ask each person to guess the grade of the coins they think received the star designation. The first person to guess the grades of the star coins will also be a winner.

    Contest Rules

    1. Please view the photograhs below and pick the two coins that you think NGC awarded a star designation. Reply to this thread with your two selections and your guess for their assigned grade.
    2. Each person participating may only submit one answer
    3. The first person to correctly guess the star coins will be announced as a winner and will select his prize from the coin prize pool.
    4. If the first winner also correctly guesses the grades of the two coins, he will be awarded two coins from the prize pool.
    5. After the star coins have been identified, the winner will be announced and then the first member to correctly guess the grades of the star coins will also become a winner and be able to select his prize from the remaining coin prize pool.

Remember, you have nothing to lose. Even if you have no idea, a complete guess can still win. I will post the prize pool as a reply this post.

Well guys, it only took 22 minutes to get a winner. Joe correctly picked the star coins but his grades were wrong. Joe selected the Peace Dollar as his prize. The first person who gives me the correct grades will be the next winner.

    Good Luck!
