I'm searching through these tomorrow, been in this old milk bottle for many years! Mostly foreign if I remember, and I see Wheaties in there!
I think that bottle is 1930s, I found it in a creek in the late 60s in Chelsea, MI (Weinberg Dairy) and filled it up with a bunch of coins my grandfather gave me!
I found mine at a old schoolhouse that came down in 1905 or so. The women I met that told me was alive then .
Good idea! Send a pic of your bottle please! I just found some more rolls of coins I got from the bank in the 70s!
That full jar would be useful in steadying a phone's camera when taking pictures of a coin. Maybe a little tall, but relatively heavy to steady the phone.
Any ideas why the trees and steps are missing on penny to the right , the one on the left is just as refference
@Barry (Mister B.) ...the coin to the right is a corroded weak strike of unknown date. The coin to the left is a worn memorial cent of unknown date. The weak strike, corrosion or wear are the reasons the details are not present...imo...Spark
Sorry , the penny to the left was just a reference , the penny on the right is a 1984 There is also a resesed groove between the bottom edge and monument , i've never really understood how certain aspects of coins could be (offset) and not affect the coins in total ! Should i spend these coins or are they worth keeping
