Spanish?

    Yeah, looks spanish. I don't know if its real or not.

    Ok that answers one part of my question. :D
    If it is fake then it is actually chinese not spanish. :rolleyes:

    I can't say which way either. :( I know these are heavily counterfeited so the odds are it's counterfeit but maybe one of our Spanish gurus will show up and fill us in on it. :thumb:

    I hope it's authentic. These are worth a nice bit! :D

    Its a coin that looks a little beat up, which might make it a little bit harder to authenticate. I'm sure someone around here can help out with some more info though.

    I don't know if it's real but it's reale.

    Hmmm Seville mint 2 reale???

    Off the top of my head I would have to say it is fake. The S mm should be on the top not the bottom and the coin should be dated which it is not. It should also have denticles which it does not appear to have. And the II designating the denomination of 2 reales should be on the right, not the left.

    It is odd that they would do such a nice jod on a fake and then goof up a simple thing.

    But I have seen silver eagles dated 1906 and morgans dated 1979 so...

    Where did you get the coin and how much did you pay? If you don't mind my asking.
