My "Ornament" toner found last week!

    But I'm new here so besides my introduction thread this is very my first post on CT! :)

    This was genuinely right in the middle of a brand new Loomis roll of 2020 D

    This is just a guess, but it was probably thrown into the tub full of 2020D cents that were being rolled by a Loomis employee.

    On a sad note, I notice what appears to be the zinc core where it has lost the copper plating along the rim on the reverse below "ONE CENT".

    Good news, it's not damage on the back...it's just going to take about 100 years longer than the obverse to tone :)

    It might turn to "zinc rot" long before then.
