The surfaces of your entire coin are not original.

The more you decide to spend your time attempting to punch down on people the less inclined I am to care what you have to say about anything."

I'll tell you what. I challenge you to clear up the "nonsense" I posted. I think most here on CT would enjoy our discussion. I'm eager to learn from you. In fact, I think we may be in agreement when you read what I posted and let it sink in. ;)

It was a simple straight forward statement that was very easy to understand and didn’t need to be attempted to be turned into a hype job while punching down on us convoluting what was actually said. 60s don’t become 58s or vice versus period.

Not every reason needs to be an ego booster or hype job for your company

:( I didn't expect you to add anything of value but it was my attempt to get you to educate yourself by a simple discussion about what goes on in the "real world." Apparently, you did not understand the simple, straight forward statement I posted. Perhaps your misplaced opinion of me has fogged your comprehension.

    Something to think about...

What is an AU-58 to you? Do you think any TPGS commercially graded MS coins are actually AU? Do many coins straight graded by a major TPGS have problems? The truth is out there...

Really? I'll show the coin to you the next time we can get together. If the entire coin is not original, aside from the place I circled, then no Indian Quarter Eagles are original.

The trouble is the photograph. I don't have any angle shots that show the luster. Here's the whole set.

Here's the only other shot I have of it.

There you go again. Lol so predictable always trying to punch down for no reason.

The answers to all of your questions I have posted about extensively in multiple threads that you have posted in, so you apparently either don't read or just view people below you and feel the need to try and broadcast that

BINGO! Until the coin grading services came along, fully, frosty, original $2 1/2 and $5 Indians were hardly ever seen. Now, true original MS examples are all over the place.

BTW, your photo is good. The color of the coin is not MS and the cleaning hairlines show. If the "spot" was the only problem the label might have said "spot removal."

    PS Nice set.

Exactly who do I consider to be people below me? Am I sensing a case of low self esteem?

:kiss: I won't be baited into breaking the rules. I'll look forward to checking out your future posts. :D

for the op, and my thoughts only, which are not worth much, is to consider the advice of bustchaser. over the many years and many forums, he is one of maybe 3 persons i would defer to on this series.

i recall years ago an in-depth conversation concerning a 58 grade, when there were a couple of well known individuals/entities attempting to make a market in 58s. there were many 50s and 53s cracked open and resubmitted in the quest to receive a 58 grade. opinions are opinions, regardless of the tpg and/or 4pg.

it is not unknown that i don't grade from pictures. however, the photo used is guaranteed to cause dismissive commentary. just looking at the photo, though, i think it is a respectable piece (i checked the listing before stating this).

i am from the old 5x school. so....maybe best to ignore me, and just follow bustchaser recommendations.
