Get to know hobo , ana article

While reading through the newest issue of the Numismatist , I looked and saw Hobos' face smiling up at me , In the March 2009 issue Bruce has a full page article telling how he got into numismatics as a boy of 9 , as his grey beard shows it was a while ago like most of us . JK Bruce . It goes on to tell how he owns his own business and also works for FEMA , the Federal Emergancy Managenent Agency , :hail:which kept him busy during our countries brushes with hurricanes Katrina , Gustav and others. Tells of his love of Type coins , pre 1917 proofs , hobo nickles and early commemeratives . Bruce tells of his love for the ANAs summer seminars , where he will teach a coarse with David Francis on counterfeit detection , a course I'd love to take . It goes on to tell of Bruces winning a Young Numismatist Auction along with four others to view some of our nations greatest and rarest coins like the 1804 Dollar , 1913 nickle and others . Way to go Bruce .:thumb:

Hey Rusty - thanks for pointing that out. My Numismatist mag is buried under 3 weeks of Coin World mags waiting to be read. Can't keep up!

Bruce is a good man. He didn't even know me, but he gave me unlooked-for but needed help not long ago. He really is one of the good ones.
