Hello Folks.... I have had the opportunity to add some very unique stars to my collection. I will post scans of these notes all in AU condition (thats what I hope any way) and pending certification by PMG. These notes will be a part of my collection as it is to my belief that they were once held by a Fellow Marine! While I did not have the distinct pleasure of meeting this Marine, I have talked to his relatives and I thank them for this opportunity to add such stars to my growing clolection! I will provide a synopsis on the notes later on and when returned from grading, will post the grades as well. They should be high XF to AU note as two of them have a slight center fold, it is minor without hard creases or paper breaks but they are present! Keep a look out on this later tonight!! Regards, RickieB
Grim.... I am getting ready to scan these in a few min.... Really special stars never leaving my collection...stand by. RickieB
Now everyone keep in mind that photos and scans do hide fine lines and folds. The 1934 D Star's have slight center folds in them that are semi-minor but still take away big points on the grade! None the less they are wonderful notes I am pleased to have in the collection and with consec SN#s. Here they are....enjoy and Thank you M.A. and R.A. I will take care of these, they found a good safe home.... http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm184/rickieb1955/SC001.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm184/rickieb1955/SC002.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm184/rickieb1955/SC003.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm184/rickieb1955/SC004.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm184/rickieb1955/SC005.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm184/rickieb1955/SC006.jpg The 2 Series 1934 D are "Narrow" examples..these are the ones that have the slight crease in them...I am thinking XF45 to AU55 maybe... Sending off to PMG on Monday. The crop is of the narrow opening in the scrool work between the leaf and scroll. There are two types..Narrow and wide. RickieB
