Does anyone have a vise in their garage? Perhaps a video demonstration would finally convince our thick-headed OP. If I had a vise out in my garage, I'd do it myself. http://www.error-ref.com/squeeze-job-or- vice-job-or-garage-job/
That 5 is incuse, not raised. I've circled where it is budded up against the A and caused damage. You see raised metal here, which is the #1 indicator of PMD.
@paddyman98 @cpm9ball @Pickin and Grinin @furryfrog02 Okay, the OP has accepted my challenge to submit the coin. I have agreed to pay all costs (to include shipping) if the coin is in fact an error. It is now up to @playguitar to submit it as soon as possible. I ask everyone for patience, as I imagine it's going to take him quite some time to muster the courage to submit his coin. Until then, let's avoid posting anything on here arguing that it's PMD, or telling him he's an idiot. I'll put a reminder in my phone for one month from now. I bet the OP will not have submitted the coin and will claim to have taken it to a dealer (or friend) who was completely stumped offered big bucks for it, but he turned it down, because he knew he could get more. I'm happy to be wrong.
They aren't! it's an illusion of photography! I swear, you guys....I am gonna include this penny when I do my first official grading. I wasn't before but now for sure, until lately I didn't have 6 coins to send in!
Isn't it like six coins for a hundred and ten bucks? What do you mean exactly by saying to just send in a coin? What if I just send it to you ,I'm sure your honerable.
I welcome @Seattlite86's arrangement. Regardless, you should send your coin to either of these companies if you don't want to be burdened by minimums and submission costs. https://www.anacs.com/ https://www.icgcoin.com/
OK, that is good to know, because minimums have always hindered me. I will send it in and you all will see!!HA HA HA HA......(evil laugh)
We are done arguing about what is what. We have agreed you will submit it. Sorry, but I will not submit for you. I'll not have you claiming I switched your coins out, or stole them, if they get lost in the mail. Straight to the company, straight back to you. You can submit to ANACS pretty easily. Follow these instructions: https://www.anacs.com/SubmissionForm.aspx
