Yeah I noticed it on coinshows.com, so I assume it is fairly small. Seems like they don't show any major shows on there.

Luis, there is always a big show (about 150 dealers) in the St. Louis suburb St. Charles in the summer (either July or August) and again in October. I hear there mayb be one thins spring as well, but I have not heard for sure yet. I try to advertise the St. Louis shows here as soon as I hear the exact dates. I like to meet other forum members. tcore and I met for lunch before the show earlier this month. I'll be sure to let you know when I know some dates for sure. Like I said, there are generally 3 major St. Louis area shows per year. The one that just happened, one in summer and then one in fall.

Does anyone know where this year's Central States Numismatic Society convention is going to be? I was thinking that it might be in STL this spring/

Thanks for the info. Are you from stl too or somewhere else in MO? I live in stl since august. I'm doing phd here so I won't go anywhere for like 5 years. Are you a dealer? I've never been to a coin show, really :hatch:

CSNS is in Cincinnati Ha auction in April 28 thru May 3rd so that would be the dates for CSNS

Just go to Google and/or Yahoo and type in coin shows St.Louis. Also, try Illinois. Many times the listings are incomplete so also try Coin World, the PCGS web site. To bad your so far from Chicago. There are 3 constant coin shows just outside Chicago every Month. 1st, 2nd, 3rd Sundays. From 20 to 100 dealers.

Yep, Chicago is kinda out of my way. I went there once for a conference and couldn't visit much, so maybe next time I go there I'll make it coincide with a major coin show ;)

I thought it was going to be in St. Louis this spring. That should be a great show.

Edit: I'm kinda confused here, is there going to be a CSNS show in St. Louis this spring, or Cincinnati? Or both?

No, I'm not a dealer. Just a coin enthusiast. I'm northwest of St. Louis. It actually takes me about and hour and forty five minutes to get to the St. Louis or St. Charles shows. Its well worth the drive though. I usually get to go to every one of the big shows there.
