What is a good fair price for AU franklin Halves? I like collecting them and was just looking for a range to buy them at in bulk. Nothing hurts worse than getting ripped off. Sry if this is in the wrong from Thanks, Josh
Personally I would not pay more than7$ ( this is known as the most affordable collection) and you are right nothing hurts worse than getting ripped off. I have a few coin which i found out were fakes and i cant look at them any more without getting mad
fake franklins?? or other coins thate fake? I dont know alot about the cost of coins in this series, but the red book should be a good guide. Some issues can be more scarce then others, especially with the FBL designation. IMHO the franklins that have that 'aged' look are the best.. so much more then the proofs
Thanks Guys. From your responses it seems like I am runing hot when it comes to buying coins. I don't have an exact number yet, but I bet my ACPC (avg cost per coin, probobly not a real term) is 6 buks for my whole collection including several walking and barber (sp). I made a totaly noob mystake and bought an "estate" box off the internet 80 coins for 99 dollars, 1/2 was junk 1965 +, but the other half had a few walking lib and a morgan dollar so I proboly borke even. What do you'll look for when buying halves? Thanks, Josh
It depends on the dates and how nice of AU are they , are they average beat up AUs ao Borderline coins that might make MS-64 except for a tiny bit of rub , also '49-S ,'49-D , '52-S will cost two to three times the common dates would . rzage
