    I remember the thread on this coin. In your description, you say the following:

    Pahlavi script was used on the coin and the dots you see might have been such script but worn through the ages.

    It would be more concise to say that Pahlavi script was used on the original Sassanian design, but the dots on the imitation are just dots, positioned where the bordering script and some other original design elements would have been positioned. I will look around for a primary source that can be referenced.
