I'll start.

I cropped a small section of a coin. Once someone guesses the coin series, someone else can post a crop of a coin.

I'll make the first one REALLY easy...

Obviously the reverse of a high grade coin. Looks 20th century. Can you give a hint? Is this a regular issue coin?

ok one more try/guess... is that a peso coin from mexico? seems like a wrong answer since this thread is in US coins...
