I posted this a while back, but it didn't really provide the best pictures. All grades and comments are welcome, and yes, it's 100% authentic! :D

P.S. The color you see is toning, not dirt ;) It looks much better in hand! :)

The green on it looks like PVC...... what was it stored in? You might think about a dip in acetone. It will not hurt the coin and will remove most of the PVC that is on it.

Also, I have a nice counterfeit that looks so close to being real it isn't funny. The weight on it is off however because of the copper content. Also due to the copper green patina has started to surface where the copper is in the coin. Something else to think about....

As I said, it's toning. In person, it's more of a blue color, and it really looks nice :D

As a dealer who has bought and sold several hundred Bust Dollar(8 Reales),I can say that this is very likely genuine and since much of the hair detail is present,it's in great condition.Generally, these have been cleaned to high heaven so its nice to see an original example. The year and mint mark(Mexico City)In this condition generally sell in the $145- $175 range.

    Outstanding !

Yes, it's Spanish... but one can make a strong case this is the single most important coin in American history.

    Very nice, Ryan. :high5:

Thanks :D Although I'm not really a World Coin collector, I still enjoy a few, such as this one, here and there :)
