BTW, It is 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the Golden Isles of Georgia right now, and I’m slouching around comfortably on the back steps in my ratty housecoat, with bare legs and arms, as I type this. Here’s the same scene before me, just from a few evenings ago. (*WW1 Verdun battlefield craters visible in the lawn were dug by our ever-industrious canines.)
Wow. Y’all make me glad to be a Southerner! But come July-August, when our temps climb to oven-like and the Great Outdoors here becomes one enormous sauna with eight million percent humidity... well... then I might be the one envious of you.
