Howdy peeps, I never hop over to this forum but I thought I'd see just how good ya'll are at guessing the grade of paper. For your viewing pleasure today, we have a gorgeous 1901 $10 Bison. What grade would you give it? Ribbit
Now for The Rest of The Story. This note is currently for sale on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-MINT-1901-10-BISON-LEGAL-TENDER-WHAT-A-NOTE_W0QQitemZ270346892891QQ And it sold November 2008 at Bowers & Merena: http://www.bowersandmerena.com/auctions/lot_detail.aspx?&AuctionNo=13140&SessionNo=5&LotNo=5247 So now you have found out what some sellers on Ebay are doing, they're buying medium grade bills and doctoring them to make them look Unc and relisting them as Unc on Ebay. To me, that's criminal but to Ebay, it's a buck. :goof: I thought you guys would like to see this firsthand, so that's why I posted it how I did. I wanted an unbiased opinion as to grade, before you saw what the original grade was. And for those that don't know it, this bill has a pedigree so it will never obtain a better grade than it had before and now that it's been messed with, the grade may even go down. :goofer: Ribbit
