I asked myself, why does the government only use FedEx and UPS to ship the vaccine? Seems like the answer is within this thread.

 

Mine left the great state of Virginia today estimated arrive 12/22. I'll keep you all posted.

To be honest and from my recent experience, Thanksgiving was the last day to send a Priority Mail shipment and expect it to arrive before Christmas.

The Grinch is running the Post Office this year and is threatening our Operation Covert Nickolas . . .

I wasn't able to participate this year due to the COVID lockdown, but I am watching the action here. Here in Cleveland, we have been getting stories for weeks about several-day long backups of the mail trucks waiting to unload. We are still waiting for a package for my son for Xmas that made it to our local post office on the 10th, and then was sent on to another city in Ohio, and hasn't moved since. Speaking of Ohio, I'm tracking a package that left Troy OH on the 9th...reached Cincinnati on the 11th (not too bad this time of year--2 days to go 75 miles or so)...finally left Cincinnati on the 16th...and now is in limbo--simply listed as in transit--no destination listed.

 

Fortunately, I already received my SS gift but I have other pack in route from Minnesota. It took 5 days to get from MN to ......Iowa??? Now it has been sitting there for 3 days.

 

Received my SS gifts and just chillin' with my puppy.

Wishing all to get their packages fast now.

I got the old 'later alligator' status update from the postal service - hope my SS pkg. isn't taking the scenic route

Frankly guys and Gals, I don't care when it gets here, as long as it gets here.........And I know it's gonna get here.

 

I had to go ahead and open mine! Santa was good to me this year! He saw I like silver and sent me a bust half and a proof silver eagle. I'm really grateful for this gift and the thought that went into it! One of my favorite things to open this time of year is my Secret Santa gift. Thanks Santa

SS's have been good to me. I got to do this twice and so there are two SS that sent things to me. They are both way cool and so awesome to behold. Very, very happy with Santa this year!!!!! Thank you to my Secret Santas who really did their research and got me coins I could enjoy for years and years.

I got a card, letter, and a box filled with coins. Pics to follow of the coins. This is so appreciated.



And I also got two Barber Halves - 1911S and 1909S, so two new years for me. I love me some silver and I love me some Barber halves!
