I see in Ebay 5 coins of 1 cent 1909 VDB each. The seller write that the coins are looked not like MS65 but better than MS63, Can you see in the link and tell me what is your opinions about the grade? The link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290296356935&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching Thank you very much.
Maybe it is me, but I find it kind of discerning to see the same type toning on several of the coins. I am in no way an expert, but the colors seem off or something. So wait for some expert to come by.
They look like they'll go MS-63 to me but I'm not the best Lincoln grader on MS coins , wait for AJ or one of the other Lincoln guys . rzage:whistle:
Yea I was wondering the same thing , thinking it was a shadow or something , but they're all on the reverse and not the obverse . Rusty:bow:
I don't know what to tell you. I see nothing specific wrong. She has winning feedback and star rating - and A RETURN POLICY.
Well, I'm not quite sure what to say other then I'll let you know what I would do. I would bid 90$ USD on the lot, Hope to win, and post them all in separate auctions. I've noticed some BU 09 VDB's going for 35$+ You should be able to get these for 20 or 25$ in a B&M Just my opinion
The "full red" notation in the listing should be "red-brown", IMO. Still very nice looking coins, in any event.
So you did not see anything wrong with the shadowing or coloring of the coins? It just look weird to see five coins with same type toning.
I didn't participate this aucation, but the price jump twice in 1 minute from 83 USD to 156 USD. Thank you all.
