Hey Folks,

Secret Santa entries are officially closed! I sent out the last names and info. Don't worry if you're a latecomer, I have enough participants that it'll stay anonymous, as long as you don't post too much info here about when you shipped out and such!

Please check your messages and respond to me that you got your recipient, and/or let me know when you ship and/or if you have tracking. Also tell me when you got your package please (or post here WITHOUT the mailing addresses showing). I pass on all the messages.

Not shown is our participant from Germany. New York is the most represented state with four participants. If I somehow missed your state, please message me privately, so we don't give away who you are!

Mine arrived in yesterday's mail, and went immediately under the tree. Can't wait! Thank you Secret Santa!

 

I couldn't stop shaking my Secret Santa present, so over to our lil tree it went . My Cat is on the job protecting it from burglars as you can see .

Dear Santa. I apologize. But the pretty black box under the tree was preventing me from a good night sleep. I will admit I am a high anxiety, low patience kinda guy. I had to throw in the white towel at 2 am and open it.

A 2016 $5 Canadian Superman 1oz silver.

This is my first Canadian silver piece... and pics do not do it justice. The finely spaced radial lines play with the light in a way that I have never seen it a coin. It’s a pure light show.

Santa, you are too kind and a simple “thank you” isn’t enough. Merry Christmas and God Bless.

Santa arrived today. Well, he probably came yesterday but I didn't venture out to the Post Office because of the snow.

I promise to do my best to wait until Christmas morning to open and will of course post pictures when I do.

 

This coin gift is from @tibor. He is not my secret santa. He had heard that I did not have any "hammered coins" and he mailed me 3 hammered coins from the 1500's. Talk about being generous wow. Yesterday marks the day my mother passed away last year and his gift really cheered me up. I got misty in my eyes and my heart is full of love. I am so thankful. Thank you so much tibor. Sorry but my ancient flip phone takes very crappy pics. What an amazing gift. Now I have a new interest in hammered coins.

Just wanted to say that I received my gift Thanks, Santa! I’ll post pics later... can’t put it under the tree yet as the kids are checking every day ;-)

My SS gift left PA on 12/12. It was supposed to be here in NY on 12/15 according to USPS tracking.

On 12/16 they updated tracking to package is in route but will be late.

Later the same day 12/16 it updated with a new location, Pensacola, Florida.

Seems about right for the USPS. Pennsylvania to Florida and then hopefully New York. Efficiency is their motto

I was listening to the news, talk radio. Said the PO is overwhelmed. I am worried that my SS won't arrive till late. I think tomorrow is last day for priority to arrive before Christmas, Patience ya'll. Santa could be late for alot of us this year.
