I’d like No.22, the 1895 Indian Head cent. I’m a real sucker for “mystery items.”

    Thank you @lordmarcovan

    #23, I am a real Barber nut.

I can never decide if I prefer the dimes, quarters or half dollars.

I can still remember getting a strange 'foreign' coin on my paper route.
Later reading of the Red Book, taught me that it was a Barber quarter.

    Thanks for an amazing contest.

    #13 #6 would be the Zoid's choice.

I mean, what an enigmatic number, coupled with a dateless coin with a design reminiscent of exonumia created a century later in the US, what's not to like?

    *See reason on CU . . . .

Hey, guess what? Turns out somebody else just saw that one, also liked it, and bought it, mere moments ago. Pick another number.

#16. Really neat that it’s a Mexican Colonial silver coin.
    Thanks

#6 for the reasons given on the other side of the street. Should I repeat them here?

I'm destined to never win one of these for myself . . .

How about #4? I'm always looking to expand my humble ancient coin collection.

You're good. I read your post over on CU. Sound choice. (If someone doesn't buy it out from under you again. LOL.) ;)

Goes with my nickel and quarter broadstruck coins. I try and collect one type of each error for each denomination. Need an Ike dollar broadstruck, if anyone has an extra.

WOW!! Choices, choices!! I've been sitting here for about 20 minutes trying to decide what I would like to win, if given the chance.
My 1st answer would, of course be, EVERYTHING!! But, as I scrolled up and down on the page, my eyes kept stopping on #14, the Spanish 2 Reales! For three , 1. would just be its overall appeal to me; 2 would be that it would be the oldest coin in my collection; C. Somewhere in a box in my collection room, I have a set of fake Spanish coins that I bought years ago when I moved to St. Augustine, FL, so I'd like to be able to see the real thing!!
Thanks for all the fun Lord!!

Sound choice, in my opinion. That one, despite the old crease in it, might have some potential, if the counterstamp could be identified, and turns out to be something special. I don't know. Was never able to figure anything out about it. Worst case scenario, you've got a nearly-300-year-old piece of silver and something to research.

I lived in Saint Auggie in the 1970s. It was very exciting to me, because even as a little kid- even before I started collecting coins- I had the heart of an antiquarian. I used to make little museums with toys and seashells and odd bits of stuff I'd found, and display them proudly to the adults.

I lived there for 20 years, from 1985 on, then moved to the Louisville, KY area for awhile, moved back to St A for about 2 years, now I live in Jacksonville. If you have been to St. Auggie since the 70's, its wayyy different now!! Not necessarily in a good way.

I used to live in that area myself, and St. Augustine was a little too touristy and commercialized for my taste. I'd take Fernandina Beach any day over St. Augustine. Nonetheless, St. Augustine usually has a twice-a-year coin and currency show with a decent variety of vendors. If you haven't been, I'd highly recommend going whenever they host another show.

#2 Seleucid Empire: bronze Æ18 of Antiochus IX stands out for me. I do not own any ancients, just modern and for some reason this one being BC appeals to my interests the most of all the selections listed.

I saw your December "swap list. "

I'm half tempted to "break the ice" and finally pick up a piece or two from you, possibly breaking a few other hearts along the way . . . . .
