Finally some new large cents. Have not attributed them just yet will have to work on it. And yes these are entombed so you can play guess the grade if you want or just plain comment on the coins. Enjoy!!!

Left the Indian Head Cent small because I can not figure out what happened to the lighting between the two sides. They really match and are very lusterous. My own opinion is it is overgraded by maybe a point, but it is very nice to the naked eye. A good new edition.

Nice coins & congrats on your NEWPs! XF 40 (maybe a 35 on a bad day) and XF 45 are my guesses. :)

XF 40, XF 45 and MS 64 RD. I don't know if its the pics, but the IHC looks red to me. Its got a little toning also. Might be the pic's but I'm not seeing any wear on the IHC, Nice Coin. Nice chocolate brown color on the Large Cents.

  6. I love large cents! Those are beautiful!
    both are definitely XF.

As for the IHC, it may be the pictures but I think I see some wear... not so sure about that though. Great color

Very Nice Additions! Two Thumbs up on these. Let me know if you need help attrib. them.

I don't think people realize how hard it is finding nice old coppers.

It's not only that they are getting hard to find, they are also getting more expensive. :goofer: That's why I end up with old beat up ones, they're affordable . . . somewhat. ;) My poor little DBC collecton is only a third complete and I need so many that are R-5's, that it's going to cost a small fortune to complete but I keep plugging away, one at a time, and hopefully someday I'll complete it. :thumb:

Love the coppers, Mark! :thumb: As always, you can send them to me for proper attribution. :D

    Ribbit :)

    Ps: I picked up a S-146 last night. :D It's worn but it fills a hole. ;)

Well I agree with the XF grades on the two large cents. The PCGS grades are XF40 for 1831(n-7) and AU50 for the 1847(n-38). The 1904 is MS65 RB. I think the obverse rates a 65, but the reverse is a little soft on the shield. Still a sweet coin to the naked eye.

PS: Edited to add the attributions I came up with.

Mark, i really like the two large cents. Your 1831 has a very nice, 'solid' look, with appealing patina. Superior to the example i posted recently by a bunch. Congratulations.

All 3 are really nice additions to your collection. I believe the large cents are easily EF 40-45 and the IHC a MS 64 RB.
