The brain tries to interpret random data and will try to force it into a recognizable form causing you to see things that aren't really there.

 

What happen if you find those colonial symbols in three different coins from three different years? The reason of those other Lincolns (1969S, 2000),was not only to show the little faces. There's something else.

 

This started out as a clipped Lincoln and now is some conspiracy to put colonial symbols on our coins. Back to the original coin it is post mint damage. Ice

 

Once you convince yourself that you see them on one piece it becomes much easier to convince yourself you see them on others.

Also the idea the fact that you are seeing the same thing on different years of cents should convince you that the dies for these coins are not being made from reworked 400 year old dies. To do so once would be incredibly foolish. To do so three times? It obviously would not happen. (And you could not do it once, and then rework the die again twice to produce the other two. The die would not survive, and the second reworking would remove any traces of the original die, they would not show on the other two years.) In short, you're seeing things.

 

Since the mint destroys or defaces coin dies (grinds off the faces) do you think they would suddenly find and old die and rework it into a cent? You can buy a coin and die from the mint and the face is ground off. I still think you are finding a conspiracy where one doesn't exist. If it does then Kennedy is still alive, The twin towers were brought down with bombs, and the pentagon was not hit by a plane. Ice

I have just completed research and deliberation with the top experts in the world regarding Carlos coin. We all met at a secret location last night and worked through the night to uncover the hidden possible explanation of Mr. Carlo's coin. This is our finding for the record.
1. It is a 1976 Lincoln Cent and is very interesting we all agreed.
2. We think that the die that struck this coin went time traveling.
3. It has been hubbed with as many as 20 different other dies dating back as much as (but possibly more than) 250 years.
4. This die has been hubbed, un-hubbed, paired with, struck over, beat against, clashed with, re-engraved with, even put in a reducing lathe, (for why we could not come to a conclusion) but it is A very active die - it gets around, round, round it gets around, all over town, town it gets around!
5. There are none other like it the world - oh there are many like it but this one is Carlo's.
6. In closing, (I'm sure you'all are relieved about that) we determined this 1976 one cent coin to be worth at least 1/2 cent and possibly as much as but not over 1 cent - it's a keeper for sure.
One more thing Carlos - if you ever get your hands on an electron-microscope with a 10,000 power capability we are absolutely convinced that you may see the answers for all the universe, at least you will see a Tootsie-roll and that at this point that would certainly be a relief!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish been around on those years to give answer all your questions. The only thing I know is that, "Numerous die variations exist". The coinage was made legal tender by the General Assembly of New Jersey in May 1682.
