I have compared this 1944 to photos on Coppercoins.com and also have asked Chuck Daughtry his opinion about it. It appears to have the Date and TRUST of 1944P-1DO-004 plus a Double Eye and a possible Double Ear. It also has the Reverse Markers of 1944P-1DO-009 on the E and T of CENT. I would ask you to check this coin to the photos on Coppercoins.com.

Doubled Die falls under the Variety Category.
Use the word Doubled when asking if you have a Doubled eye or Doubled ear.. Not the word double.

Too late...indelible...forever...may be a case for the eye and earlobe...nothing that leaps out toward you and no doubled die
obverse ...hold onto coin for awhile and then revisit...you might see it differently...stay on this forum...good intentions here and knowledge...

When referencing Wexler (http://www.doubleddie.com/486634.html) I see the WDDO-20 with the doubling to the ear, as well as the WDDO-21 in the date. It is difficult to see any other markers associated with either of these varieties from the pictures available.

A moderator can remove a post, but they won’t in this case, really, not a huge deal. @paddyman98 and many others, strive to use and understand correct terminology and provide to forum members correct, accurate information.

You’ve been a member for 15 1/2 months and should know by now you need thin skin here. What’s most important is to remain willing to learn and don’t let being corrected stop you. Because all of us here learn new things every day. We want you to stay with us and contribute your wisdom and expertise.

I've had a few comments about my stuff, but I found it was better to keep in the forum rather than throwing the baby out with the bath water. I've learned a great deal from reading the information that is given freely. Thanks to all of you.

Those are great photos you posted. You get an A+ from me, spelling/terminology errors or not.

CORRECTION: I meant “thick” skin. To be thin-skinned is being unduly susceptible to criticism...Spark

I would say very nice pics, and let water roll off your back!

That would be thick skin - as it appears the OP has thin skin which is why he felt the chill from those looking to correct his wording instead of offering meaningful answers to his question.
I hope you don’t have thin skin and take this response personally...just trying to educate. ;)
