Does this coin have a chance of straight grade or is it destined for a body bag?

“Attic find”...? Red flag. If genuine, it won’t straight grade. Cleaned, scratched/damaged. Stay away.

Looks like a counterfeit, tooled in an effort to make it appear legit.

I would pass, besides there is only minutes left.

From those pics, you'd be lucky if it was made from silver.

Even if genuine, it's not a coin you want and the seller's "attic find" label is a warning. If genuine, it will probably get two doses of details findings: Graffiti and Improperly Cleaned.

Terrible fake, no returns. Someone's about to get taken for a ride and the ticket costs half a grand.

    I wouldn't touch that coin with a 10-foot pole.

Just in case the listing disappears...

Maybe it was found in an attic.

    ... in Beijing.

Has anyone here reported it yet? That thing is as fake as the day is long.

That certainly is not a genuine coin. How unfortunate I didn't see this when the item was still available.

Almost 12000 100% positive feedback and $415... yikes. Put this next to a real one. Yikes.

Looks really suspect. Meow would not touch that for even $10.

Yes, it is an import, fresh from the “Chinese attic.”

Guaranteed. Hope the buyer notices or is alerted from the reports.
Edit- I meant “scratched” (on the reverse) not tooled. Amazing the lengths people are willing to go with this stuff.
