I am a big fan of Mexican coins so I thought I would post my most recent acquisition:

This is a 1 oz. Silver Proof from the Monedas de los Estados series. From the same mint that does the Libertad and others.

Edit: For some reason the reverse won't upload, I get errors. Also, more information on this coin.

Nice coin. I like Mexican coins and medals as well. I once had a 5 ounce silver medal from Mexico that featured the Panda. Yes the Panda. I wished I kept that one. Only about 1000 minted. There are a lot of coins I wished I'd kept.

I know the coin you are talking about. Mexico cranks out some real beauties every now and again. The 1 kg. 2007 Aztec Calendar is high on my list of items to acquire.

Nice! This is an original coin minted in the State of Guerrero in 1914. That state is well known for its silver ores.

Thank you, some of them are not that good, look at this usual specimen out of Guerrero State. Near uncirculated, it shows the usual strike made in the middle of the battle or camp fields to pay troops ASAP.
